Fairmont City Christian Activity Center Lunches

These are unusual times for all of us. While the Fairmont CAC has been
closed to classes, we have spent the past 3 weeks of the quarantine
bringing donations to the food pantry and assisting the Collinsville
School District in distributing lunches to 350 Fairmont students every
weekday.
All that will stop with the end of the school year. It will be our
turn to provide daily student lunches. The Fairmont CAC will be
providing daily lunches for June, July and the first part of August.
Just as we have for the past 7 years, Lunch in the Park will begin on
June 1 on a drive-up basis.
Our dilemma is that we need to supplement food donations. The
quarantine has caused hardship on our families and regular donors, as it has for many others.
Since we are a totally volunteer-based organization, 100% of all donations
benefit the children.
