Fairmont Athletes' Dream to Sweden

Competing in the Gothia Cup in Sweden—the world’s largest youth soccer tournament—is a dream come true for any young soccer player. That dream is becoming a reality for three Fairmont Area student-athletes: McKenna Ludacer, Makenzie Gerhardt, and Mollie Leiding. In July 2026, they will travel overseas for 13 days to represent their community and take on teams from around the globe.

With the cost of $3,450 per player and $4,150 per parent, any and all support is truly appreciated as these athletes prepare for this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
