Fair Lawn Teen Rescue Medical Fund
Donation protected
On Saturday, July 13, my granddaughter was involved in a horrific accident. She was air lifted to Hackensack University Medical Center following an hour long recovery effort by her friends and emergency personnel from five different departments. Her and her friends set out to enjoy an afternoon of swimming and cliff jumping. Unfortunately, she slipped on the wet rocks and fell head first 38 feet hitting the rocks and water. Her friends acted quickly and saved her from drowning and called 911. She suffered extensive injuries including a neck fracture, lung injury, broken ribs and teeth as well as lacerations requiring stitches. She also had to have surgery. She is currently on day 11 in the trauma unit still recovering and is expected to be discharged soon. She has a long road of recovery ahead and the out of pocket medical and physical therapy expenses are unaffordable. All donations will go toward her out of pocket medical bills including the helicopter transport to the hospital trauma unit. Your support and donations are greatly appreciated.
