Helping James Campbell Fight Against Tongue Cancer

My name is Sparky Willemsen. I am reaching out to you today on behalf of my friend, James Campbell, who is facing the daunting challenge of tongue and lymph node cancer. Both James and his wife, Jacqui, have faced adversity before as veterans but this hill is a high one!

In the face of this intimidating diagnosis life has become a major roller coaster with conflicting battle plans from different doctors. James and Jacqui are on the road to Mayo Clinic to have the cancer surgically removed now, in the hopes that it can be removed in its entirety without further chemo and radiation. That is yet to be determined. With all the uncertainty they are continuing to move forward with determination and optimism. As friends, we want to alleviate one stressor on this family and contribute to their healing journey.

The financial burden associated with cancer treatment and missing work due to illness is huge. James is the breadwinner of the family and there are still children at home. We have set up this GoFundMe campaign with the goal of raising at least $7,500 to support James in covering some of the mounting expenses.
