Faheem Carter is a native community leader here in San Francisco who has been advocating for years for families & children in our neighborhoods. Faheem is a leader who was recently visited by Nancy Pelosi who gave credit to his fantastic work in the Bayview neighborhood of San Francisco.
But today, this strong leader, whom many of you know personally or have heard of his fantastic work, needs his community support. Faheem Carter was viciously attacked by a group of gang members in the Tenderloin neighborhood of San Francisco. He was walking to his vehicle after coming from an event near City Hall where he was given an award for his work in the community. Faheem is currently in the ICU and undergoing multiple surgeries.
