On Saturday, December 28th, our family's life was profoundly impacted by a day that seemed to stand still. My mother experienced a sudden onset headache that brought her down while at work. My father came to rush her to the nearest medical emergency facility, knowing something wasn’t right. Following a cat scan, medical professionals discovered that an aneurysm had indeed ruptured. Upon receiving this news, she was transported by ambulance to Emanuel hospital, where she underwent emergency surgery to stem the bleeding in her brain. She is now recuperating in the ICU.

We acknowledge the remarkable fortune she has had in surviving this medical crisis. However, the anticipated duration of her ICU stay, hospitalization, and time off work remains uncertain. To mitigate the financial burden, I am seeking support on behalf of my parents, who would never request assistance themselves.
