Hello,

My name is Candy Finco, and I am a friend of Lisa McCants. I met Lisa last fall when our boys played baseball together.

As some may know, Lisa was leaving a cleaning job this past week around 11:30am when she was struck by a drunk driver. From the location her vehicle was struck to where her vehicle stopped was 200-300 yards. That's about 2 football fields. Her car flipped, slamming on the ground in between flips, and continued flipping. When I went to gather belongings out of her car, the wrecker crew told me they had never seen something this bad and that I needed to prepare myself before I saw the car. You cannot imagine. I was not able to upload all the pictures for you to see the extent, but there wasn't a part of the vehicle in tact. The trunk was in the front seat. A helicopter and jaws of life were called. She has a long recovery ahead of her. She broke her back, chest bone and ribs. Her vertebrae in her neck are very swollen. She will need 24/7 care indefinitely. The driver admitted to drinking the night before and again the morning of the accident. The medical expenses, in addition to living expenses are enormous. 

As you can guess, the deadbeat did not have insurance or a job. He is a repeat offender. Lisa works very hard for her money, is a single mom and does not have short or long term disability insurance. They want to send her home, but she can't even sit up or get up by herself. She needs medical equipment, rent, food and medical bills and daily expenses. I am asking anybody that can help, please donate. I know times are tough for many, but every little bit will help. She has a friend here from Georgia for a few days and we hope to be able to brainstorm and get her some help. I thank everybody in advance and you have no idea how appreciated you will be.
