Missions 2022

Hello all, My name is Miluska Silencio; here is little me with my mom in Brooklyn, NY. I had no idea what lay ahead, from being different with kindergarten ESL classes, not having financial aid for college, yet through the help of the faith community, I've been able to persevere in my hopes and dreams. I am currently a licensed clergy with the Evangelical Covenant Church, former pastor of the church plant Reconcile Brooklyn.

I am a DACA Dreamer, and after 30 years of not traveling as an undocumented immigrant/noncitizen, I was approved via Advance Parole (travel document) to fulfill the opportunity to travel internationally to Berlin, Germany for missions! I won't be traveling alone, and thankfully, my husband Joshua will be coming to support me as I will learn and share my story with other immigrants in Germany. Would you help my husband and I journey there and fulfill my great longing to be in Germany to learn from their culture, spirituality, immigration experiences and reconciliation to bring back to NYC?

We will be heading to Germany from October 1-21! The amount will help cover our flights, stay, food and accommodations as well.
