My name is Michael McCarthy, and I am fundraising from the United Kingdom for my friend Fadi Qasem and his entire family.

Here is his story:

My name is Fadi, I’m 22 years old and live in northern Gaza with my family of seven. Every day, we struggle to survive under constant bombing, destruction, and extreme poverty. There is no work, no safety, and no hope for the future.

My 7-year-old little brother suffers from severe seizures and urgently needs regular treatment. His medication, Dekadyl, has become almost impossible to find and far too expensive for us. Many days, we don’t even have enough food to eat or clean water to drink.

I was studying Multimedia at Al-Azhar University, dreaming of building a better life for my family. But now, my only goal is simply to keep them alive and safe.
