Help Me Rebuild After Relentless Cancer Battle and Setbacks

My journey over the past few years has been an unimaginable one, battling colorectal cancer with everything I have. After enduring extensive chemotherapy and radiation, I underwent a major surgery to remove the cancer, which required a colostomy bag. My resilience shone through, and I later had a successful reversal surgery to remove the bag, bringing a sense of hope and normalcy back into my life. , I was back at work, rebuilding my life and my independence. Then, my fight took another devastating turn.

Recently, I faced a terrifying medical emergency. I was rushed into emergency surgery and spent time in the ICU due to complications initially thought to be excessive scar tissue. Tragically, during this critical procedure, I had several bowel obstructions, leading to another devastating setback: I woke up from a five-hour surgery with the colostomy bag re-established.

This latest ordeal has left me physically incapacitated and unable to work. While my insurance is thankfully covering my medical care and medications, the process of obtaining disability benefits is notoriously long and challenging. I'm in a vulnerable position, struggling to cover basic living expenses and not knowing how I am going to make it right now. I have worked my whole life and have always taken care of myself and others when i could so this is a huge life change for me and very scary.
