Facing Mounting Debt and A Lawsuit Over Same

My name is Timothy Joyce, and in 2012 I became ill with End Stage Renal Failure. I could not work and thus had to go on disability, and my income decreased significantly. I made adjustments where I could, but eventually I was overwhelmed and forced to do debt resettlement to try and get my debt under control. I've been in the program for over a year, got several accounts settled, and paid my draft every month. However, one of the account holders is suing me for my balance. I have legal representation via the debt settlement program, but the best they could do was a 18% reduction to be repaid in one year. This settlement would increase my monthly draft by 150 dollars, and combined with rent, there's no way I could live on so little money.

I've done everything in my power to avoid this outcome, but I am out of viable options at this point. So, my remaining ones are: accept the settlement and try and figure out where to get 150 dollars a month (and given my health issues and Social Security disability restrictions, this has proven to be impossible), take my chances in court (where I will likely lose and have to pay the judgment and court costs in full), or file bankruptcy (which requires an insane amount of cash to even start the process). So, I'm looking to some Good Samaritans online for help. If you are in a position to help even a little bit, I would greatly appreciate your help.

Thank You For Your Attention,
Timothy Christopher Joyce, Jr.
