Facing Medical Bills After ICU Stay

About a week and a half ago, what started as a painful tooth turned into a life-threatening emergency. After going to the ER in Crawfordsville, I was transferred to IU Methodist in Indianapolis, where doctors discovered a severe infection. I was taken in for emergency surgery, and due to complications, I was sent to the ICU. I spent several days in the hospital — time I couldn’t afford — and I’m now facing overwhelming medical bills.
