Facing Homelessness Due to Illness

Update (prior context below): I was beyond blessed with the opportunity to live with my dad but we’re both struggling immensely. I left my chef career to pour concrete for some extra money but alas, my hours were cut. Went to work as a manager at a new kitchen, loved it. They hired 6 more people, as a result, people who have worked there forever and play pivotal roles such as myself had their hours reduced from 40-50 weekly to 9-25. I’m doing everything I can to get 1-3 jobs and I’m just barely scraping by with food stamps and the hours I get while I apply everywhere possible/go to every establishment and politely speak with the owners in hopes for some work/income. It is just so difficult in this world we live in, I live in such fear that this cycle won’t end and I will die before I can live. The $1500 is a stretch, anything I can get to help get my dogs monthly heartworm pills, help more with the utilities and mortgage as my dad works 10-30 hours overtime every week to try and pay all of his bills and help with my medical debts, just enough that after my dog is cared for I can maybe make him a nice lunch to bring to work to thank him for all he does. I know it’s asking a lot but I’m running out of options for side hustles and I’ve gotta try whatever I can. We just want to live any way but stagnant and scared. Thank you guys, I hope you all have a lovely day!
Hello, my name is Trace and I’m currently in a very desperate situation. Around 6 days ago I developed severe tonsillitis and was not able to drive to prompt care due to dizziness and fever, I had to miss a full week of work because of how high the intensity of sickness was. My job does not offer sick pay or PTO, I have not been able to afford food for myself for months and my only real expenses are rent, medical debt payments, car payment, insurance, utilities and my dogs food/monthly heartworm pills. This 6 days absent of pay is going to cause me to not be able to make it on my rent come April, as well as this it will lead me to not be able to afford a security deposit plus first months rent (lease is up in July and I was hoping to move somewhere cheaper, I only moved to this apartment because I had insane violent neighbors at my old apartment). If things go the best I will hopefully be able to move onto my grandmas porch once my lease is up and save up some money. Any help is beyond appreciated and I’ll gladly take whatever I can get. Anything at all helps, if there is any hesitation with a financial decision as such it is very reasonable and understandable, if you’d even be willing to get my dog a new toy or something to keep her busy I know it would make her day. Thank you so very much!!
