I would rather not do this, but I am stuck in a situation I can't dig myself out of. I had gotten a new job and that job promised me better pay and a good schedule. They lied to me. The schedule was bad and the pay was well below what I was told. They then proceeded to not actually hire me for a month, which put me behind on all of my bills. That alone is something I could possibly find a way to deal with, but now my landlord has screwed me over. I spoke to them and they told me that while I was behind, I had until the end of the month to pay due to my circumstances.

Today, I received a phone call in which they went back on everything they told me. They told me because of people, of which I have never met, who were behind on rent, they are taking action. The worst part about it is, they told me that instead of just evicting the people who are way past due, they are evicting everyone who owes anything. They even said that I am less than a month behind, but it is out of their hands. I am now facing eviction unless I pay the full amount before a court date that they don't know when is and refuse to tell me. I am asking for enough to pay my rent and if I end up over, it will be used to pay my rent for the next month.
