Facing eviction and hardship - Please help this family

Sometimes life changes in the blink of an eye. Over the past month, a dear friend and their children have had their world turned upside down by an unexpected financial hardship. Through no fault of their own, they’ve been thrust into a situation no family should ever have to face, fighting to keep a roof over their heads and the lights on.

They are the kind of person who shows up for others without question. Proud, hard-working, and fiercely independent, they’ve always been the one offering help—not asking for it. And that’s why I’m asking on their behalf.

They recently started a new job, and while it’s a step forward, it simply doesn’t cover the essentials. They’re doing everything they can—stretching every dollar, working long hours—but it’s not enough. Right now, they’re facing eviction and the possibility of having their electricity shut off.

Their kids are doing their best to stay strong, but no child should have to worry about whether they’ll have a place to sleep or homework light at night.

If you’ve ever known the pain of struggling and the warmth of someone helping you through it, I hope you’ll consider doing the same for this beautiful family. Every little bit helps. Let’s show them that they’re not alone, that community means something, and that love shows up even when pride won’t let us ask for it.
