Hello everyone!

I'm battling Multiple Myeloma and have been for over 9 years. Had my first Stem Cell Transplant in 2009, 6 months after being diagnosed.  I was diagnosed 1-week after returning from my honeymoon. My husband and mom have been there with me every step of the way.

Since then, about every 2 years my chemo's stop working so the Dr's change my chemo's/drugs to newly released ones. Currently there are no new chemo drugs that will work on me since they're Immunotherapy based, I no longer have an immune system, it was wiped out after the last Stem Cell Transplant, you need one for the new drugs to work.

Unfortunately, my cancer is so aggressive I'm now facing another Transplant. I've had my Stem Cells in Storage for over 9 years but the team of Dr's feel it's best to use a family members, if there's a match, otherwise going through Be The Match Registry for a good match.

Last time my company was wonderful and amazing! They raised funds to help offset co-pays and an apartment in the area of Cedars-Sinai. We needed the apartment for 2 months, 9 years ago that cost was $7,000. My co-pays after the Transplant were about $20,000.
