Facing 10-day Eviction Notice

The eviction came with no time to prepare and I havent been able to dispute it. My landlord pre-leased my apartment without notifying me, and I have 10 days to secure shelter. I don’t know what will happen if I can’t find new living arrangements, but I am as of now facing a displacement I cannot handle financially or physically.

I have been struggling for the better part of a year with surgical recovery and numerous health issues. I have avoided asking for help, but this situation has me dead in the water.

My car is inoperable, and has two broken windows due to theft, so I also do not have means of transportation. As of this morning I have called a series of apartments to get quotes and ask about vacancies but haven't had any luck finding appropriate housing near my place of work.

I am an alum of the Pacific Northwest College of Art , and am a resident artist at P:EAR, assisting in the creative mentorship of houseless youth.

I have been in portland for 2.5 years, and I unfortunately do not have family here. I have several art exhibitions coming up and need space to work as well.

Any help you can offer in funding immediate housing and transportation would make a big difference. I would also be extremely grateful for leads on short term apartments or rooms for lease under $1500. Thank you! I will post updates.
