The COVID-19 pandemic has affected our children's health, education, and social and psychological well-being. As such, Football With A Twist; a high-activity program that introduces the skill and discipline of the sport, took the initiative to have a free 2-day summer camp for our children ages 4-12. It orchestrated on the 26th and 27th of May 2022, at 61 Kings Street Linstead, St. Catherine. It was a success as all goals set forth were accomplished as the sport was not only introduced to the children, but it allowed them to improve their interactions with each other and remind them of what it means to be away from technology.

Throughout this camp, the children anticipated being a part of our football program that starts later in the summer. However, at the end of the program, it saddened our hearts to know that some of these children that love the sport might not be able to join us this summer due to financial difficulties. Hence, it prompted us to start this GofundMe to assist families with financial support that are interested in enrolling their children in our soccer training program. All donations acquired will be used as scholarships to guarantee full participation for children in lower-income communities. We say in Jamaica: "every mickle mek a muckle."
