My father Joaquin O. Alatorre, was vacationing in Mexico City on December 28, 2019 when he suffered a life changing accident. His scull was crushed by an industrial scissor lift that tragically fell on him. He was immediately rushed to a hospital, where he awaited his destiny  in a comma. 

On December 31, 2019 he was miraculously given a second chance at life when our God decided to wake him! Joaquin has suffered numerous facial fractures that require emergency surgeries. Along with other hospitalization costs, our family is required to pay hospital bills daily since our insurance does not cover international emergency care. Mexico requires that every foreign  patient pay upfront before receiving treatment. 

My pops is an extremely generous and beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He is a truly amazing friend and extremely deserving of this second chance!
