Face Shields for Northern California

The picture is a prototype.  The face shields will, of course, be clear.

Trekboxx is a CA based manufacturer of premium vehicle cargo systems.  We will be using our CNC machine in a new way:  to manufacture protective face shields for healthcare workers on the front lines.

As COVID-19 continues to spread there is an urgent and growing demand for medical face shields for healthcare workers.  Like many of you, we wanted to find a way to help during this crisis.

We need to raise funds to help cover the costs to produce and distribute as many face shields as possible. 

100% of donations will go toward the purchase of materials and production of face shields.  Each shield will cost approximately $2.  Our goal is to manufacture 10,000 face shields in our first production.  With your support we will continue to produce as many as we can!

Are they Certified?

No, but they were designed with input from medical professionals.
We have worked with area hospitals to ensure they can/will use our face shields.

Are they reusable?

Yes!  Use, sanitize, repeat.

What are they made of?

PET plastic and silicone

How are the face shields being distributed?

Face shields will be hand delivered to local hospitals, including Mercy Hospital of Folsom and Mercy General in Sacramento.
If there is interest, we will continue to produce face shields and can arrange shipment to other locations.
