Face Shields for Medical Workers - Upstate NY

We are printing as many face shields as possible to protect medical workers in the local community - Washington and Warren Counties.

I have three printers going around the clock and have put about 500 dollars of personal money into raw resources, but we need more to keep making the shields. I should be able to make 400 shields in three weeks at the rate I am currently printing. We are giving these masks to care homes for the elderly at no charge as well as EMS groups.

I am working at the same time as making the shields, but updating my blog when possible. Please check out the latest post here.

We are currently limited by the plastic sheets and need to make a large order for these.  In general, the funding from this will go towards any raw materials that limit production. While the goal is 400 shields, we will continue to make them given the resources as fast as we are able.

The first 30 shields are going to High Peaks Hospice, and then more to Granville Center after that (where my great grandmother currently lives). Given our limited capacity, we will then focus on EMS groups who need them. We are still communicating with groups to determine needs, but our goal is to get these to healthcare workers who need them as fast as possible.

We appreciate every donation, and thank you for the support to make a difference and save lives.
