Face Shields for Key Workers

We are currently printing Face Shields to donate to front line staff / key workers. Lots of these key workers all over the UK are working without PPE so to be able to provide these is amazing and also offers them some reassurance.

We are receiving 20+ requests each day for varying quantities and have already produced and supplied over 3000 face shields to various hospitals, GPS, care homes, paramedics & more.

We are utilising 3 printers (2 of our own funded printers, 1 we have had has a hobby printer since January, a 2nd purchase after starting shields but before we set up a GoFundMe so this was from our own pocket, and a 3rd printer which was purchased this week and will be sold at the end of the pandemic with funds being put back into the fundraiser). We are printing in excess of 100 shields per day.

Printing these quantities will put material costs at £60-100 per day, the price being quite a broad range due to the prices being altered by suppliers on a daily basis as the demand increases (this is materials only, so without factoring in electric & packaging to ensure your shields get to you without damage etc).

For anyone requiring postage / delivery, these are also paid into the GoFundMe to keep everything in one pot.

Once the covid-19 situation has passed any remaining funds will be donated to Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.
