I have had the pleasure of interacting with the Joining The Dots Foundations over the years. Dhananjay is one of the co-founders, is an amazing person with great dedication towards helping with rural children education . He has made great accomplishments in last 5 years and I wish him all the best for his future endeavors in helping rural children in India. I strongly believe in vision of JTD and I have seen them accomplish so much in such short time.
In the challenging times, to fight against the Coronavirus Joining The Dots has stepped in to help the people of Palamaner. Palamaner is situated in Andhra Pradesh and about 150 kms from Bangalore with about roughly 3 lakh people. Joining the Dots Foundation has worked in this area for more than 5 years providing college education and career guidance for than 200 students and helped more than 10 ZPHS schools with computer labs, libraries, toilets and many other needs.
Today we want to make sure every citizen in our villages gets enough aids in their fight against Coronavirus. Masks are only available in cities and not in villages. Palamaner town being a red zone no citizen from the village can come over there.
Joining the Dots Foundation wants to make sure not a single individual in Palamaner walks outside without a mask. We have already distributed 10,000 masks in 4 villages and that is not enough. We need 3 lakhs masks to cover everyone in this town. 14 local tailors were employed to stitch 10 thousand masks and they all made around 4-5 thousand rupees. We are going to stitch 75 thousand masks will provide a livelihood to 50 tailors for 2 weeks.
Please contribute to help 75 thousand people, to fight Corona Virus.
