This has been extremely hard on me personally and I am just exhausted with the amount of unexplainable hurt this has caused me and cannot bare... So I decided to start this fund for My family .
Its never a right moment or one we can plan for when these things happen... And its been a few VERY rough years on our family with such tragic continuous losses. Now we must prepare and face another struggle we cannot bare. I would like to ask for anyone who has ever known me or my family and or my brother personally if they could help in this time of need. Fabian is an amazing brother and I cannot gauge how much longer GOD will permit us to have him but its a very limited time from what doctors day.
For all those who have ever had a loved one in a skilled nursing home, you can relate on the poor quality of care some of these places provide. My brother Fabian sadly suffered a stroke in July 2021 which he barely survived, then was sent to a skilled nursing home where he was suppose to have rehabilitation and therapy.
This facility offered poor care and staffing which was not working in his favor. My brother was given very little to no attention and this facility and they made it very difficult for me to relocate him. I made several attempts but had poor support from any of the staff or administrator. I spent countless days making calls and even reached out to Health Services for conditions this facility was in. I felt like my hands were tied..
Unfortunately on December 10th 2021 I got a call from the facility informing me he was rushed to the ER unresponsive. My brother is now in ICU in very critical condition. He has suffered strokes and his outcome is uncertain but unlikely to get through this as the person we knew before. He is battling sepsis with very high dose antibiotics as well which can explain some of the strokes he has now had. All this on top of the fact that he is also a quadriplegic has made this even more difficult for him.
Fabian is AMAZING brave , talented, fierce and strong. He is so smart and soooo funny he is goofy !!!! he lovesssssssss Star Wars, can tell you about every movie and character. He loves his movies he loves his dog Stacey... he loves buying my mom collector Tinkerbell ornaments for Xmas! He is grouchy at times but that's just Fabian some days. But he is so caring he is generous and very thoughtful. His Favorite holiday is 4th of July he loves burgers! He lovessssss his FAMILY, he is my older baby brother that I LOVE....
Fabian has not deserved this nor does anyone. I ask that whoever reads this, and or has ever had a loved one in this situation please help. Primarily this will help my mother through this unbearable road I know it will be financially difficult for her and we as a family need all the help that we can get. Whatever direction his path should be it will need us to financially support Fabian and the family. This was another very sad Christmas for us all and another very unfortunate start to the new year.
