Hi, we are Ashley & Shannon, Fabian’s Aunts. My family & I are raising money to help my nephew as he recovers from triple bypass heart surgery.

Fabian Raymond went to the hospital on September 6, 2023 after suffering from chest pains. The hospital decided to admit him that same day & run further tests and labs that led to the discovery of him having suffered a massive heart attack. Along with hearing this news also came the diagnosis of Fabian having Type 2 Diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol & worst of all five blocked arteries. Surgery was imminent. After almost a week of running tests & scheduling a surgery date, the surgeons agreed that having stints placed wasn't the best option for his long-term health & that a triple bypass was necessary in order to save his life.

Needless to say, for a young man of 31 years old this was devastating news. Fabian underwent his triple bypass on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Baylor Scott & White medical team in Texas, and spent 1 week in their ICU, and is now on the difficult road to recovery.

Fabian is a young man who lives in Texas far away from immediate family members and is very prideful and does not like asking for help. Problem is, he has not been at his job long enough to qualify for FMLA and will be unable to work for the next 3 months. This is where we need help to ensure he gets what he needs to support himself as well as his 8 year old daughter, Brooklynn.

We as a family are all doing what we can to see that he gets the help he needs, along with his mother, Anitra, and his father, Marlon, who have been by his side supporting him during this time.
