My name is Theresa Gaona & I am a family friend that is assisting Jose's mother, Cecilia Ornelas & his father Jose Gonzalez with this fundraiser. The funds will be used for all funeral expenses & of course help the family with living expenses. All your assistance has been overwheming & the words thank you are not enough words to reflect Jose's family's gratitude. From Theresa Gaona: Jose, was a wonderful son, brother & to many a real friend. He was loved by many and will surley be missed. Jose worked closely with his father to support their household and had plans of going to college before the Covid epidemic started. Jose loved life and enjoyed being with the people he loved & considered friends. He was always there for you, if you needed anything he was always willing to give a helping hand. Jose's life ended at the young age of 21 and as you can imagine his mother & father are devastated. The family is not finacially prepared for funeral costs & we are asking for your help to donate whatever you can to help the family give him the most beautiful service he deserves. Alejandra Luevano will be putting the money into a savings account for Jose ( if you have any questions please contact me) From Alejandra: Jose was my best friend as he was for many that knew him longer than I did.  He was my boyfriend at a point in time, my best friend and my confidant.  He was the most beautiful person inside and out.  He loved his mother, father, siblings, family and of course his friends.  He could make anyone laugh and smile even if it was just him giving you a funny look, he had that amazing gift to make you laugh.  He was always there for you, even if you didn't deserve it.  He wanted to do so much more, the pandemic stopped him from this but I would just like for everyone to please pray for Jose and his family and friends.  He had a positive outlook on life and made friends everywhere he went.  Please continue his legacy by being the kind, caring, sweet, and adventurous person that he was.  A quote from one of his favorite musicals, 'Hamilton':  "That'd be enough."  He would want us to do what he couldn't get to do later in life.  His funeral expenses are high and we would greatly appreciate anything you can give.  If you are unable to donate that is totally ok, just please pray for him and his loved ones.  I love you my love, "My love take your time, I'll see you on the other side"
