My name is Dinah, the young boy who tragically lost his life that night is my sons cousin. When speaking with family members about the tragedy, I asked what I could do to help and I was told that they have nothing. I felt powerless because I knew I could not support in the way I wanted to alone.

The funds will be used to cover funeral costs and to help the family to replace essential household items and belongings such as furniture, clothing and important documents (passports,birth certificates) which were all lost in the fire. As well as the young life lost, multiple other people's lives were also destroyed on that night. The money will not solve this atrocity or ease the pain that the family are feeling right now, but it will help to cover the necessities so the family can grieve without financial worry. The Funds will support Fabian's mother and close family with the cost of Fabian's funeral when the time comes.
