Hello my name is Kayla, I appreciate you taking a moment to read our story. Our family has been struck with a horrific tragedy due to a drunk driver our little sister Michelle Umana Rodriguez was killed on 2/23/24 while driving her son to school. Michelle was a mother of 6 beautiful young children whom are devastated one of which was involved and injured as well in the accident and witnessed his own mother’s passing. Our family is coming together to support relocating the children together in my home as well as therapy for my nephew as he has experienced a tragedy no child should witness. We are asking for help with laying Michelle to rest peacefully beside our brother and father’s gravesites where she will be with family and her children can come to visit her as the years pass on. Our current estimate for expenses is $20k these costs would cover her funeral expenses in full and allow her children and family to give her a proper burial. Michelle was a wonderful woman and mother whom worked independently to support her children’s needs taken too soon by an incompetent selfish drunk driver. All money donated will be used to directly to cover these unexpected expenses.
