Good Day to you! This is Brandon Smith, from HeadWaters. I have to apologize for the impersonal message, but time is short.

As most of you know, my wife Lydia is being hospitalized for another premature pregnancy. She has made it to 33 weeks, which is longer than our first (Maxim at 31 weeks), so a genuine praise to our Good and Almighty God for that.

The problem that we are currently facing will no doubt require as much prayer as you and your family in Christ can offer on our behalf. However, I have a more pressing and urgent need to continue to bring in a stable income for my family. That being said, I recently purchased a work van that is now out of commission for electrical problems. This van is my primary, and only real practical means of income for our family. This brings me to the reason for this mass request.

I will be having the van towed into a local Huntington auto shop this afternoon (Car Mart), to hopefully have our van up and running as soon as is possible. I do not know the exact amount it will cost for diagnostics / repairs, but knowing the electrical nature of the problem, I will assume it to be between $1500.⁰⁰ and $2000.⁰⁰.

I have never in my life wholeheartedly considered asking so many people to give money to our family (perhaps as a joke, maybe). As a man, I fully and thoroughly enjoy providing for my wife, children and anyone else that The Lord may Bless us to help along the way. I feel now, however, that I have no choice but to humble myself in order to ask you, my Brothers and Sisters in Christ, to come alongside us financially, in this our time of need.

This is the first time I've asked for money of so many, but the more people we ask, the less you all would have to give, therefore lightening the burden that I am asking you to share. My family thanks you, deeply and sincerely, as this will help us get back to some semblance of normalcy.
