Baby Annie

Hi everyone! Our dear friend, Shanna Nelson, and her family need financial help. They welcomed their newest SURPRISE addition to their family on April 4th, sweet Baby, Annastyn. She was born with a rare medical condition, Hirschsprung's disease. She had her first 8 hr. surgery at 11 days old to remove most of her colon. Since that surgery, baby Annie has been in and out of the hospital, in a lot of pain due to infections. Her family was desperate for help and was told her condition was too severe to continue treatment here in Florida and has been referred to a Children’s hospital in Ohio. Mom and big sister hit the road immediately in search for answers, while dad had to stay home and care for their other children and household needs, another hard decision they had to make. Annie has undergone her second surgery and now has an ileostomy to help heal her bottom and bring her some relief. She has to stay in the hospital in Ohio for 5 days after surgery and will have more procedures coming her way. Mom has been out of work caring for baby Annie since she was born and is at the end of her short-term disability. The bills are piling up, and the need for medical treatment continues. They would never ask for help and put themselves out here if they were not desperate, as they are a family who has handled all life has thrown at them. Their life has changed drastically, and they need financial help to help with medical bills, travel and daily living as they continue to care for baby Annie and her needs at this time.
