Coon's Cancer Treatment Fund

Hi, my name is Claire. I am fundraising for my friend Robin and her boy Coon.

If you know Robin, then you know Coon. Coon is a 7 year old heeler. He was recently diagnosed with osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in his skull, near the left eye. A CT scan is needed immediately to determine exactly how much of his skull is affected so that we can begin treatments to slow the growth of the tumor.

In the 3 weeks since the lump appeared, it has grown rapidly, displacing his eye to the point that it won’t shut completely.

If a CT scan determines that radiation and surgery are not an option for him, we will have to remove the eye to relieve pressure to keep him comfortable. Our next step is getting Coon a CT scan which can range from $1500-$2000.

This does not include treatment following the scan.

Any donation will go directly towards existing and future vet bills. We all know how expensive vet bills can be and how stressful and heartbreaking it is to go through this type of situation with our beloved pets. Let's relieve some of the financial burden for Robin so she can focus on being there for Coon during this time.
