Cristina Monterroso

 
On Friday January 12, 2018 our mother peacefully passed away as she laid her eyes to rest for the last time.  The next time her eyes will open it will be with our heavenly father in the skies above us.  She was challenged with many obstacles and health complications that would have easily killed the ordinary man or woman but ordinary she was far from.  She single handedly defeated each one even when the doctors themselves gave zero hope.  She was told she would never walk again but she did, she was told she would never drive again but she did, she was told she would never live a normal life again but she did.  A warrior at heart and an angel to be around.  A true half woman, half amazing individual and an inspiration to us all.  Her strength and reason for survival was supported by her beloved mother who  helped her through every step of the way.  Her reason for living was her 4 sons which she leaves behind.   Anthony, Carlos, Philip, Dylan and grand child Ethan.  She is also survived by her two sisters Jackie and Lesley and her brother Willie. Mom we will miss you dearly, until we meet again. Again thank you for your support.
