Help our family survive covid

Don protégé
I tried to avoid asking for financial help for as long as I could, I know covid is hitting everyone hard, but unfortunately I'm left with no choice. 5 weeks ago my wife Courtney caught covid. We took her to the ER after a few days of home treatment, but unfortunately the hospitals were over crowded and they sent us back home. We continued to treat at home with the newly prescribed antibiotics, but unfortunately it only got worse. I monitored her oxygen saturation, and once it dipped below 90, we called 911 and EMTs rushed her to the hospital. They explained there is a good chance as soon as they get there I would have to come pick her up because there is no room. Luckily they kept her, and immediately put her in the ICU. She was 8 months pregnant with our 2nd child, and because of the pregnancy, covid hit her extremely hard. Within 1 day in the ICU, they decided an emergency C-section was the best option to save her life, and our baby's life. I'm very thankful to say our baby boy is ok and doing well. He was born premature, and needed ventilator support for about a week, but thankfully he came off the ventilator and is now on a smaller breathing tube.
I haven't named him yet, as I'm hoping his mother will wake up soon so we can make that decision together. He will remain in the NICU for another month before he comes home. Courtney and I were in favor of the vaccine, but unfortunately the CDC didn't approve it for pregnant women until it was too late. She caught covid just a few days before the CDC deemed it safe. She has been unconscious in the ICU, on a ventilator for the last 3 weeks. I'm very happy to say she has made good progress, but she is far from out of the woods. Even with our progress, doctors stress that she still may not survive this. Doctors have told us this will be a long recovery, even after she wakes up. They told us to plan for long term rehab, and then physical therapy. I will be by her side every step of the way no matter how long it takes.

We have a beautiful 8 year old daughter named Lila. I need to be with her as much as possible, as she needs a parent and some normalcy. I also need to be by Courtney's hospital bed as much as possible, as they say familiar voices really help the recovery. It also helps me, being by her side. I've been next to Courtney every day, reading her favorite books to her, holding her hand, and trying my best to calm her. She is still unconscious. She has been the love of my life, my best friend, and my role model for the last 14 years. We met when we were teenagers, and have been attached at the hip ever since. She is a preschool teacher, an absolutely amazing mom, and an amazing wife.

We've been saving our money for years, but unfortunately with the hospital bills + me not being able to work full time + the lack of her salary, we are running through our savings very quickly. Even if I was blessed with free babysitting for my daughter and newborn, I wouldn't be able to afford to recover from this on my own salary.

We've been blessed with an enormous amount of baby stuff, to the point where I don't have the room to store any more of it. I'm so thankful for everyone offering baby supplies, but I rather it go to someone who needs it more, but I'll still gladly accept formula and diapers. Right now what we need most is money to survive. I've kept up with all our bills, everything is current, but it won't be long until our savings is depleted & I can no longer keep up with the bills.

I restore paint on boats and vehicles for a living, so if you're in the Orlando - Daytona area and need wetsanding / polishing work, I'd be happy to work on your boat / vehicle. My availability will be very limited, but I will work as much as possible. I also make a good chunk of my living off music production / composition. I'm proficient in music theory, recording, and play a handful of instruments. I started when I was 15, and I'm 30 now. I compose / produce instrumentals for artists of all types, and I'm able to do it from home, which allows me to take on a lot more work. I'm able to do any genre / style. So if you're an artist looking for instrumentals, backing tracks, etc, I'll gladly work for you as well. Or if you just happen to have a couple dollars you'd like to donate, I'd be very thankful for every donation. Every penny I get will go towards rent, groceries, hospital bills, water / electricity, etc. I'm very frugal, and good at stretching my money as long as possible. I'd be happy with the bare minimum. I understand times are really rough for so many people right now, and I don't expect much, but anything will help. I'll gladly work for it any way possible!

Thank you!
