WISE WILL RISE

Hi,
My name is Charlotte Cornell and I’d like to propose funding for my best friend Julia Wise who was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer.
As a recent college graduate, many things are unexpected. Future plans, career goals, and major life changes occur that will mold you into an adult. In May 2017, Julia graduated as a student athlete with her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Shippensburg University. In a little over one year, in July of 2018, while applying for graduate programs and continuing her career development as a health care professional, Julia was faced with a life change that no 23-year-old, should have to endure. Julia has been diagnosed with metastatic stage 4 breast cancer that has spread to her bones and liver. She is currently seeking treatment at the Abramson Cancer Center at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. The emotional burden that this heartbreaking disease has placed on her family is large enough and I would like to help alleviate the addition of any financial strain. Between costly treatments, copayments, and traveling 2 hours to appointments there will be numerous expenses added to Julia’s circumstances as time goes on. Those closest to Julia know that she is as tough as they come, and will fight ruthlessly through whatever treatment is thrown at her. Please consider helping by making whatever contribution you can to assist Julia and her family during this time.
