Help Nik's Fit-It-Shop after the Waverly Flood
My name is Bonnie Bentley, and I have been a school teacher at Waverly Central High School for 29 years. I am fundraising for Nik's Fit-It-Shop. Nik Coon is the owner of Nik's Fit-It-Shop, my neighbor, and my friend. Nik and his wife Tina, who also works for the school system as a secretary, have always been active in our community. They have always been there to lend a helping hand to others, and now they need our help. 100% of these funds will go directly to help Nik rebuild his business. Nik's Fit-It-Shop was flooded Saturday, August 21. Trace Creek runs behind his business, and the water quickly rose nearly to the roof of his small engine shop. Nik and others have been working through heat and exhaustion trying to put the shop back in working order, but labor alone will not complete the job. Many of the tools, most of the inventory, and some of the counters/workspaces/walls will all need to be replaced or rebuilt.
