Our friend and neighbor, Shawn Smith, was just recently diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia).  There are going to be some trials and tribulations on the horizon for the Smith family, but, with their faith in the Lord and the help of their family, friends and neighbors, we are hoping to help them and make their difficult time, easier!

Shawn is the family's main income provider.  So, us neighbors, here in the Morningside View subdivison, wanted to rally behind them and show our love and support by starting this page!  Shawn will inevitably have to take time off work, at certain points, to begin treatments in the upcoming days and months ahead. His treatment begins this Monday, March 7th,  and he'll be in the hospital for approximately a week.
 
The Smith family are wonderful and selfless people, who will undoubtly jump and help anyone at a moments notice.  So, please, lets help them through this tough time and, at least, give them a little peace of mind to not have to worry as much about upcoming medical bills and everyday living expenses as they begin on this journey.
