Hi, I'm Abigail Hollis and have been best friends with CeCe for over 7 years. If you are lucky enough to know her on a personal level, you then know first hand what a generous and caring person she is. On Wedendsay July 6, 2022, Cece and Dameon experienced every parents worst nightmare when their precious daughter Maddie had a medical emergency. For no apparent reason, Maddie started having severe stroke symptoms. She was slightly confused, had a small headache, and was unable to move the left side of her body. After calling 911, Maddie was taken to Children's Hospital St. Louis. The doctors decided to sedate and intubate her, which is a breathing tube, as a precaution to help her body focus on where it needs to heal. After several tests, it was found that Maddie has an arteriovenous malformatin (AVM). This is causing bleeding into her brain, which in turn is causing the pressure in her brain to rise. Maddie is currently being prepared for a craniotomy. This is where they will remove a portion of her skull to relieve the pressure. There are no other updates at this time, but as they happen, I will post and share what I can.
