Help Our Family Stay Afloat While Gabrielle Fights Leukemia
Hi, my name is Acacia, and I never imagined I’d be asking for help — but my family is facing one of the hardest moments of our lives.
Just one day before I lost my job, my wife Gabrielle was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) — a rare and lifelong form of blood cancer. Our world turned upside down overnight.
We live here in Kentucky with our two kids, Dallas and Jonathon, and we’re doing our best to stay strong as we navigate doctor visits, treatment plans, and the uncertainty that comes with a diagnosis like this. Gabrielle is originally from a small town in Marble, Minnesota, and she doesn’t have any family here, so it’s really just the four of us leaning on each other right now.
With the holidays approaching, the financial stress has grown even heavier. What’s normally a joyful time for our kids has become one filled with worry about how we’ll keep up with rent, bills, groceries, and medical costs. I’m actively searching for work, but until I can get back on my feet, we need some help to get through the next few months.
Every dollar donated will go directly toward:
• Rent and household bills
• Groceries and everyday essentials
• Transportation for Gabrielle’s medical appointments and treatments
• Helping give our kids a small sense of normalcy during the holidays
Gabrielle is one of the strongest people I’ve ever known — she faces each day with courage and grace. Our kids have been doing their best to stay positive, and I’m so proud of them.
Your kindness — whether it’s a donation, a share, or even just words of encouragement — means more to us than you could ever know. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us through this chapter.
With love and gratitude,
Acacia, Gabrielle, Dallas, and Jonathon
