Turkey Earthquake Appeal

On 6 Feb, my home region of Hatay, and indeed my own city of Antakya was hit and severely impacted by two massive earthquakes of 7.8 and 7.5 magnitude. This has been the worst quake in a century and has destroyed many buildings leaving thousands upon thousands of my fellow Turkish people displaced. I myself have lost an auntie and cousin in this tragedy, and many of my friends and their families have been directly affected.

Whilst many will not survive this event, the ones that have, really need your help. They need the basics that we take for granted; the basic need of food, water, blankets and medication is in short supply.

I have opened this appeal in the hope that you can make any donation you can, to ease some of the suffering which the people of Antakya and the region are facing at this time.

Each family I can assist will be documented as best as possible
