Even the strongest Men out there have a weakness. A weakness called Family. A Family that we all care too much about that our deepest fears tend to reveal themselves in a matter of emotion. Our family has been through a tough situation. No one will really understand what one has gone through because we fail to know that person completely, but family members and relatives know. For those that may not know we lost the head of our house hold;my dad, back in 2011; It was tragic. Out of nowhere we received a phone call asking for a ransom in his return. The ransom was paid yet he never came. We managed to pull through the situation because it was all we had. Later in our journey my mother faced A sickness that no one has found a cure for until this day; cancer. She had already beat it once before but it came back. I was in my final semester in College at UTPA, running Track and field, in the COMD program, and working part time. All to be a better man and to prove to my mom that I was as strong as she was. After receiving chemo again for a couple of months doctors said she had beat it once more. Man was I happy. I was happy because for one, she was able to see me graduate from college and able to see me walk. It was an amazing day for me, more so because her presence was there. Now it's close to a year after she had defeated cancer for the second time and now the doctors say that it's too advanced to resolve, but I believe in God and I believe in miracles. And I know His will will be done. Through these tough times we face we look up to God, it shouldn't be that way but I learned the hard way. You should make time for God throughout all your time if you are a firm believer in Christ. Friends, All I ask is for your support, anything will be appreciated, but more importantly your prayers. Thank you all so much, and God Bless us all.
