Help Kayla Fight Her Battle With Cancer!

Kayla Davis was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma on July 20th after experiencing severe headaches, weight loss and blurred vision. Our family is blessed to have a Doctor and Nurse in the family who acted fast to help get her into the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. A MRI taken in Colorado on July 9th revealed a large tumor on the back of her skull. Her amazing Physician Dr. Ayyappan we met on July 13th is convinced Kayla will win her battle with Cancer. Her first of twelve rounds of Chemo started on July 21st. As you would expect the chemo hit her pretty hard but she is a fighter. She is currently in Mason City being taken care of by her grandma, twin sister, father and the rest of her family and dear friends. She is required to make trips for Chemo to Iowa City every two weeks. Kayla was in college working full time in Denver before this illness brought her home to Iowa. Family and Friends have asked us all how they could help. We are not typically ones to ask for financial assistance but under the circumstances we feel this may relieve some stress so she can focus on her health and recovery.
