Hello, I am a single mother with 3 babies(2 fur babies). My younger puppy Yuuna got hit by a van this morning while we were on a walk. I do not have any pet insurance. I initially went to an emergency vet Bluepearl at forest hills but they just administered some pain medication took 441$ and informed me almost 2 hours later that they unfortunately don’t do any surgery. I had to move her to a hospital in Long Island(VCA in Westbury to be specific) but they weren’t professional at all & gave us only worst scenarios possible. They said we have to amputate a hind leg and the other leg also they were not sure if it was salvageable. They also discussed about putting her to sleep which was a nightmare something unimaginable to me.They gave her a catheter and when we wanted to get another opinion we had to pay $1839.80 to transfer her to another hospital. We came to Long Island Veterinary Specialists in Plainview and the vets here were so professional they said they can save both her legs which is so much relief to me and it’s good news. They handed me a bill which is way above my

financial capabilities. I have been relying on part time jobs all this time.Doctor said she needs so many surgeries otherwise I have to put her down.

I don’t want to put her down Yuuna is only a 2 year old puppy. We just celebrated her 2nd birthday. Please help me to save my Yuuna everyone. Each of your donation will mean a lot to us. I will be greatly indebted/grateful to you all. Thank you.
