The Hernandez family, Rafael (senior); Ana; and daughters Mariela, age 24; and Miriam, age 14; was in catastrophic auto accident on June 10, 2018.

Rafael is in intensive care, Miriam is in the hospital with severe injuries, and Ana did not survive.

Mariela, although she does not have any physical wounds, is doing what she has always done - taking care of her family. She and Rafael (junior - "Rafita") are going to need all of our help to get through this.

The family needs help with funeral costs for Ana, hospital and doctor bills, and with household expenses so that when Rafael and Miriam are ready to come home there will be a house to come home to.

Rafael and Ana, beyond supporting Miriam who lives at home and will be in 9th grade next fall, also support Rafita who is in college, and they had hoped to help support Mariela who had just graduated from college.

Please help Mariela and Rafita with these expenses so they will be able to focus on getting their family better and will not have to worry about the financial struggles they are about to face with no income from their parents coming into the household.
