On November 18th, 2019, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Olfactory Neuroblastoma a type of cancer. On December 17th, 2019, almost exactly one month from being diagnosed I underwent a 13 1/2 hour surgery to remove a softball and a half size cancer growth that was growing behind my sinuses and under my brain. I was in the hospital for a month and my memory from that time is very, very vague. In February I began a very brutal 39 radiation treatments, although now complete, I am still suffering side effects. The most severe being weakness, lack of motivation and loss of energy. Some days are so bad all I can do is sleep. As a result of the cancer I will not be regaining vision in my right eye. I am beyond blessed with all the love and support from my family, loved ones and friends. But as the days go by, the medical bills are mounting by the day and I am becoming extremely overwhelmed.
