Ivy’s Vet Bills

Hi my name is Adrienne. I am humbly asking for funds to help pay for my dog’s vet bills. This girl is my heart and soul and I would do anything to get her healthy again. Asking for help from family, friends and even strangers, is much harder than I thought as I struggle to find the words.

They say things come in threes, well I truly hope that in Ivy’s case that’s true and that this chapter in her life is over. First it was surgery to remove an alarming lump, then an acute allergic reaction to what we think may have been a spider bite and now a strong case of pancreatitis, again with no known cause. This girl has been through the emotional and physical ringer and it breaks my heart just to think about it. Like many other pet owners, if I could trade places with her I would, in a heart beat. But I can’t and I’m agonizing over not being able to help her. At this point, at the beginning of another (or prolonged) bout of pancreatitis I am left trying to pay for the outstanding and very deserving services of her veterinarian team. But the well is dry. 

Like so many others, the rising costs of living have put me in a situation where multiple and ongoing vet bills over the last few months have depleted my savings and now will cause me to start falling behind on monthly bills and living expenses. 

If through your generosity I am able to raise funds to cover these expenses any additional money will go towards paying it forward.

To those of you who are still reading this, I truly thank you for your time. People like you who are in a position to help others and are willing to do so, are angels on earth. I hope to be in a similar position some day, where I can help others, however, unfortunately right now that’s not the case. So again, thank you for your time, thank you for your consideration and thank you for your generosity. Not all heroes wear capes.
