At Loreto College St Stephen's Green, Carols by Candlelight is a long-standing Christmas tradition and a highlight of the school calendar, not just for the magic of the occasion but because all donations on the night go to support brother Kevin's work at the Capuchin Day Centre.  At this time of year there would normally be the hustle and bustle of rehearsals in the wonderful surroundings of Church Street, the sound of young voices, the tuning of instruments, but then nothing is normal in 2021.  Instead, Ceilliur, the school choir, directed by Caoimhe Iníon Uí Áinle, has recorded Silent Night in the wonderful setting of the Capuchin Church. This will be available to view on YouTube on Friday 17th December.

 

We would love to match other years and so our target is as ambitious as ever €10,000. We urge you to enjoy the music while reaching out to the homeless of Dublin. Please support as generously as you can. We need you more than ever this Christmas.
