Medical Help/Emergency Fund for Io

Hi, I am Annie and my best friend Angie and her husband Geoff are facing an unthinkable time with their 15 year old daughter Io (pronounced eye-o).  

A couple weeks ago Io started having a migraine that lasted for over a week. After a couple trips to the doctor she had some relief with migraine medicine but as I am sure you are aware she did not stay well.

Io had a severe sinus infection that pressed against the nerves in her brainstem. It has cause significant damage to her brain stem and things have gotten worse since that time. 

Io is comatose and non-responsive, She had a rough night last night and now if she survives will have no use to her eyes.

My goal with this fun is to help Angie and Geoff with medical bills that are growing, relieve some stress of having to be away from work to be near family, and in the worst case scenario prepare in case they may need to plan for a funeral.

I have known Angie since 3rd grade and as she is an only child so we have been more like sisters than best friends. I would be so grateful to you if you chose to help my dearest friend in her time of need.

She is a bright light in the world, a person who no one ever forgot once they had met her. She is an artist and a singer.  She has the sweetest personality and the softest, kindest voice. I love her curiousity and happiness to just be around.
