Echo is struggling with a fast-growing abscess on his back right leg. He was taken to the vet on Tuesday, and they gave him antibiotics and said there was no possible way of removal other than amputation. Now, after routinely cleaning it and keeping him comfortable, we notice its size is increasing rapidly. The initial vet visits drained his owner's savings dry, but he's been a very important part of this household for over a decade, and home wouldn't be home without him.
