Help Mae With Cancer Medical Costs

One of my closest friends is going through a scary medical issue...she has cancer that is not able to be treated by Chemo or Radiation, surgery is the only option. She is scheduled to have surgery on October 8th, but needs to come up with $2000.00 in order for the surgery to be preformed at Georgia Regents Hospital.
Mae has no insurance and the $2000.00 she needs is her 10% up front. Her employer is unable to help her more than giving her a 2 week paycheck, while she is not able to work. Georgia Regents Medical Center is requiring her to pay it in order to keep her surgery spot on October the 8th.
Mae has a daughter that is a College Freshman and a son that is in the Army and getting ready to once again deploy.
Mae is a wonderful, hardworking woman. She is a awesome Mom, Grandma, daughter, sister, friend....She doesn't deserve this much less the added financial stress on top of it.
