Save our Shelter!

In February 2022, P.A.W.S was handed a Section 25 Notice, through the hard work of the P.A.W.S team and the unprecedented support of the community, donors, volunteers and supporters, P.A.W.S continued to use legal recourse to gain an extension on the deadline date of 5th August 2022 for vacant possession. However, the time has come where we must move or face closing permanently. After long legal negotiations the landlord has agreed that P.A.W.S must vacate the current premises by the 31st of July 2023. This is devastating and means P.A.W.S and Susan Curran, Centre Manager, are losing their homes. Without permanent residence P.A.W.S cannot sustainably continue its invaluable work supporting the local community, helping to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome cats and dogs, who through no fault of their own require rehoming.

We are now desperate and we really need your help. We have fundraised £30k so far but we need at least £150k to be able to purchase a permanent home.

We are proud to be a part of so many communities and have saved and rehabilitated animals from Todmorden, Littleborough, Rochdale, Burnley and Halifax!

Please help us Save PAWS by donating and sharing our story with the #SaveourShelter

We know things are really hard at the moment and a lot of us are fighting for survival. Even if you can only donate £1 it would make a huge difference to us and our animals.

Thank you so much love, Sue, the cats, the dogs and everyone at PAWS. Thank you for giving us a second chance at happiness.
